Canadian authorities today recalled gin distributed by Bacardi, after inspectors found the alcohol content was almost twice the advertised amount.

The bottles of Bombay Sapphire gin were found to have 77% alcohol content, instead of the labeled 40%.

The batch, distributed only in Canada, was overly alcoholic because it was bottled before being diluted.
