Early into the second quarter of Super Bowl LII, the New England Patriots were dealt a tough blow that cost them one of their top receivers.

With the team down 9-3, after a 23-yard completion from Tom Brady, wide receiver Brandin Cooks was blindsided by Malcolm Jenkins:

Cooks stayed on the ground for a short time after the hit, before getting up under his own power and walking directly off the field.

Shortly thereafter, the Patriots announced that Cook was out for the game with a head injury.
