Cam Newton will be coming back to New England for another Patriots season, according to Jim McBride of The Boston Globe.
Newton threw for 2,657 yards, with eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2020. He had a career-best 65.8 percent passing completion, averaging 177 yards per game.
New England will have the third-largest cap space to work with this offseason. The team will also have nine picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Once a deal closes, Newton and Jarrett Stidham will make up the Patriots QB options. So, it’s likely that the team will be adding another quarterback to the mix.
