-KISS Concert was originally called “KISS Party.” The
first concert was at City Hall Plaza (then called Government Plaza)
and featured The Four Tops.

the station and has since evolved into New England’s most anticipated
music event of the year.
-KISS Concert was held at the Metro (now Avalon on Lansdowne Street)
until the “KISS Party” outgrew the nightclub and moved
to the Boston Garden (now the FleetCenter) to host more loyal listeners.
KISS Concert moved venues again to Great Woods (now the Tweeter Center)
in 1989 when more acts were added to extend the music event of the
year to a daylong mega music marathon showcasing the hottest acts
of the day. The concert has sold out the venue for the past 13 years.
-Past KISS Concerts have featured many industry greats!
-In 1989, the KISS Concert donated $50,000 to The Genesis Fund and
helped to establish the Jeffrey Osborne – KISS 108 Hearing and
Language Disorder Clinic. The Concert and the station have continued
to benefit The Genesis Fund. To date, KISS has contributed more than
$1 Million to The Genesis Fund.
-KISS 108 partner Brooks Pharmacy incorporated community outreach
to benefit The Genesis Fund, starting in 1998, when they launched
their Star Power program. This successful fundraiser has become an
annual commitment for Brooks Pharmacy, who has raised over $250,000
for The Genesis Fund.
