In a video released Thursday by the city of Boston, area residents took a moment to say thank you to Harvard graduate President Barack Obama.
Boston Mayor Marty Walsh closed the video.
“On behalf of the people of Boston, I’d like to say thank you President Obama for everything you have done for Boston, for our nation,” Walsh said. “You have been our champion from empowering us as a city to affecting change to give us hope and comfort when we needed it the most.”
