MY JOURNEY TO KISS 108.......
I joined the morning show team from WBZ-TV in
Boston, where I handled the role of Promotions Coordinator then worked my way to the Morning News Production Assistant. Prior to WBZ, I fulfilled an internship at WLZX-FM (Lazer 99.3) in
Springfield, Ma, where I worked in promotions and was in charge of creating contests/prizes, setting up events, and organizing the daily shows schedules. I have a Bachelors Degree in Arts & Sciences, from the
University of
Massachusetts Amherst where I majored in Communications, and a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. Throughout my time at UMASS, I also worked for The New England Patriots, and am involved with The Boys & Girls Club of the
Lower
Merrimack

TRAFFIC....
When it's snowing, raining and hailing at the same time-- I swear every truck driver in the state thinks it's NASCAR... slow down, it's an 18-wheeler, not an I-can-drive-through-anything-without-crashing-slipping-or-sliding-truck!
SHOPPING ....
Walking in the mall is like driving in traffic.. (which probably explains why most people can't do it right) Stay to the right and let us pass if your speed slows below the limit!!

LISTENER PET PEEVES:
When guys have their friends ask you out, instead of asking you themselves!
People with intense PDA! I mean, really.... GET A ROOM!
I hate when people talk with food in their mouth! It changes their entire voice and I hate it even more when they literally swoosh the food to one side in order to talk. Then they not only look like a chipmunk but have left a 95% chance of food coming out of the mouth on the way over and onto innocent bystanders!!! Don't be rude, chew before you spew..........
People who enter the freeway in front of my tractor trailer without looking! It's true, a truck hauling 80,000lbs can't stop on a dime people!
When people have their blinker on to switch lanes but never switch!
When you're trying to get to a class, and people stand in the middle of the hallway...move to the side!
People who come barreling through stop signs!
Chewing gun loudly!
When people talk about you behind your back!
Eating with your mouth open!
When people say, "I COULD care less." I think what you mean to say is
"I COULDN'T care less."
I hate it when people say, "It is what it is". That doesnt make sense to me, I know what it is- that's why I'm talking about it!
People who ride their bikes in the middle of the street! Everybody thinks their Lance Armstrong!
People who don't get their money while waiting in the check out line. Like it's a surprise when they have to pay!
FAST BLINKERS!!!
When people leave the door half open. Open the door or close it--there is no in between.
When you're looking for a job and you put your resume on monster and the only people that get back to you are temp agencies. Plus when they call you to set up an interview they never tell you that they are a temp agency. Then you go to the interview with the intentions that this is for a real job. Just feels like a waste of time. Who wants to get comfortable at a job then have the employer say ok your time is done thank you.
Baggy pants on guys!
People who don't use turn signals!
People who cross the street and do not even look if there is a car coming. Then when they are in the middle of the road, they take there sweet time crossing the street... Never once acknowleding that there were cars that they made slam on the brakes for no reason!
People who make noise when they eat at their desk!
When your hair elastic breaks and you can't find another one, so you have to wear your hair down, in a big mess!
People who blow their noses while they are eating!
When people scrape their forks with their teeth when they eat!
Asking obvious questions!
When pumping gas and it slows down for the entire last dollar amount...it takes about 10 minutes to pump gas!
People who push the crosswalk button then proceed to walk across before the signal turns. They are already on the other side when the the walk sign is activated and all the cars are at a stand still for no reason. Wait for the signal or don't push the button!
