Rich DiMare was born an entertainer he can Sing, DJ, Host, and he thinks he can dance. Rich's introduction to the entertainment world began at the Roxy nightclub, at age 16 he work in the office doing promotions and guest lists. Shortly after he graduated high-school he was the opening DJ for the hottest night in the city, Saturday Night at the Roxy. From there Rich has played and continues to work any venu worth mentioning in Boston. Rich graduated from A.I New England with a degree in communications. He thinks they learned more from him than he did from them, but that's history. With the piece of paper they gave him he worked briefly (2002-2003) at 96.9FM Talk. He would soon find his home in the Boston market at "The Matty in the Morning Show" on Kiss 108FM. Rich has worked as the Production Director for the # 1 show since he was 20 and loves every minute of it! In 2006 he began singing professionally. The story behind the singers birth was one night he got really drunk at the Encore Lounge, (a piano bar downstairs from The Roxy) and sang "ONE FOR MY BABY" at the performance a local restaurant owner was there and asked him to do a Sinatra night at his new place called 28 degrees. soon after he was featured in The Boston Globe in an article by Meredith Goldstein who described the Rat Pack style singer as "the hot new lounge singer in town." The release party for his first album, a self-titled mix of standards and contemporary music, was featured on "Dirty Water TV" in May of 2008. Rich is currently in the production phase of putting together his second album. It will feature his favorite standards as well as two original songs. Born and raised in Medford, MA, Rich has also received praise from his peers, winning the coveted "Best Hair" superlative from Medford High School. Working for the Matty in the Morning show has its perks in 2007 Regis Philbin, after hearing Rich sing on the show exclaimed, "this kid sounds good!" Adam Levine from Maroon 5 said, "Rich DiMare is better than Michael Buble!'" Rich sang live on air with NKOTB's Joey Mcintyre, Alya Brown (Senator Scott Brown's Daughter) and Sean Kingston. "The Sean Kingston duet with Rich was the funniest thing I've ever heard on the Matty show"- Billy Costa.
