
A study a Tel Aviv University showed that people who had a carb-fest, protein-packed breakfast followed by dessert lost more weight than people who started their day with a low-carb sugar-free meal. The people who had a little dessert -- like a piece of cake -- had less cravings throughout the day and lost considerably more weight during their 8 month trial.
