With a high-profile debut at the MTV Video Music Awards behind it, featuring not only a guest verse from Nicki Minaj but a special appearance from Olympic hero Gabby Douglas, the music video for Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” almost seems like an afterthought. Neither Nicki or Gabby show up for the video this time out, but Alicia (with some help from legendary video director Sophie Muller) captivates throughout, lounging on her bed, snapping green beans with the family.
