Ke$ha's "Die Young" was on its way to the top of the chart until the Connecticut school shooting prompted radio and listeners to drop it like a hot potato - and now she's ready to talk about it.
She Tweeted:
I'm so so so sorry for anyone who has been effected by this tragedy.and I understand why my song is now inappropriate. words cannot express.
Ke$ha then went on to add a note that she quickly deleted. It read, "I had my very own issue with ‘Die Young’ for this reason. I did not want to sing those lyrics and I was forced to." Of course, Ke$ha is listed as one of the song's co-writers.
