The letters may have been accidentally sent to the recycling center instead of being delivered to Taylor

Taylor Swift fans won't be happy to hear that their fan mail might not actually be reaching the star. According to Nashville's WKRN, hundreds of unopened fan letters addressed to Taylor were found in a dumpster.
The letters were discovered by a local named Kylee Francescan, who took the information to the station, saying she wanted to get the mail back to Taylor knowing how much her fans mean to her. The station found out that the letters were addressed to a P.O. Box and a strip mall, who told them that a member of the star's team does come in to collect the fan mail every so often.
It's possible that Taylor is not to blame for the incident. Her spokesperson put forward a possible explanation, saying Taylor gets thousands of letters everyday that are delivered to her management office. After the letters are read, they are recycled - so it's possible that this particular batch of letters accidently went to the recycling center instead of being delivered to Taylor.
