The producer behind Miley Cyrus' new single "We Can't Stop" is denying that the song contains suggestive lyrics. A rep for the producer, Mike WiLL Made It, tells TMZ that some of the lyrics have been misinterpreted, and that Miley isn't referencing drug use, as has been suggested since the song's release on Monday.
The rep cleared up the controversy over one line where Miley was thought to be singing about "dancing with molly," a reference to ecstasy. Apparently, the line - featured prominently in the hook - is actually "dancing with Miley." But as for the other lyric about "trying to get a line in the bathroom," the rep offered no clarification.
"We Can't Stop" is heading towards a solid debut on the Hot 100. According to "Billboard," Miley's latest is expected to sell upwards of 180,000 to 200,000 downloads in its first week.
