The world is getting their first look at Usher's son after he nearly drowned. Five-year old Usher Raymond The Fifth was rushed to the hospital Monday after reportedly getting his arm stuck in a pool drain at a home in Atlanta.
On Thursday, Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, took to Instagram to post a photo of herself holding her son in the hospital.
In a caption accompanying the photo, Tameka writes that she's always loved and appreciated her sons, but "tragedies and close calls makes this evident." She also says her late son Kile Glover - who passed away last year following a personal water craft accident - was an angel watching over the young Usher Raymond The Fifth.
Following the accident, Tameka was granted an emergency custody hearing, which will take place Friday. She is asking for partial custody of the two children she has with Usher, claiming the singer is creating an unsafe environment by allowing other people to take care of their kids.
